AFP Excellence in Communication Awards

The Brandywine Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is accepting nominations for its Excellence in Communication Awards.  The annual awards honor nonprofit organizations whose communications demonstrate excellence, quality, creativity, and effectiveness. Nonprofit organizations in the Brandywine Valley which includes the state of Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey are invited to submit entries for materials that were produced within the last two years. 

Awards are being presented for the following categories: advertising, informational/membership, special event, campaign materials (annual/campaign), newsletter and magazine, annual report, video, and digital communications.  Each entry will be judged by area experts in the communication field. Winners will be notified by September 30, 2010. Framed certificates will be presented to winners at AFP’s Annual Philanthropy Day being held Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club. The winning entries will also be on display.

Nomination forms are available on AFP Brandywine Chapter’s website at  http://afpbrandywine.afpnet.org. Organizations may submit up to three entries for a single fee of $25 for AFP members and $35 for nonmembers. Each additional entry is $6 each. Entries must be received by September 10th, 2010.
